Who Will Win the Cable TV Race? (All bets on Billy!)
AT&T Corp. recently
agreed to pay approximately $4,600 per subscriber for cable
TV company MediaOne Group Inc. Microsoft pumps $5 Billion+ into Internet-Cable
T.V. ventures. Recently, Microsoft Corp. has been buying up many foreign Cable & Wireless companies. Is Microsoft trying to work around U.S. Federal Regulators by moving in on the global market? I guess Bill Gates wants to own a bigger piece of the World Cable Industry,
as if he doesn't own enough of the world already! If I had that much
cash in the oven I'd be on a beach somewhere in the Carribean sipping
them fancy colored drinks with the umbrellas in them. So where is this
all leading? Who will win the Cable Race? (My bets on 'Little Billy'). Should
be interesting once the Cable Wars between these companies begin, but in the
meantime they are all playing nicely, and should offer major investment
returns for anyone smart enough to buy early enough into this game. Because as
each one of these announcements hit the news expect some wall-street action.
If you choose to snooze. You will lose! Not for nothing, but actually,
holding on to any one of these bulls; I would say -"If I was a financial
advisor, which I am not,"- should bring some hefty returns to you whether you
unload days, months, years from now, or 'This Afternoon'! Hey, this is a
site for day traders right? Not week traders, month traders, or life traders.
Ka-pish? Like my old buddy Vinnie used to say,
"Life's too short to own a Chevy. So you just borrow one for a few hours and return
it. Plenty of
'em on the road, and sometimes the owner doesn't even notice!" Sheesh!
Look at the time. Well it's off to the races for me folks, I have a date with
